At Chandler Dental we offer a comprehensive list of dental procedures. While we also excel at specialty procedures and cosmetic dentistry, we can handle all of your general dentistry needs. General dentistry procedures include but are not limited to:

• Cleanings and Fluoride Treatment. This includes Prophy’s, Scaling and Root Planing, and Periodontal Maintenance. We also do Happy Visits with young kids to get them used to coming to the dental office. For your convenience we also have water-flossers and electric toothbrushes for you to purchase in our office.
• Sealants. A sealant is a thin resin composite that fills in the grooves on the top of your teeth so food doesn’t get trapped. Sealants are a quick and easy way to protect the chewing surfaces of baby teeth and adult teeth from getting cavities. No numbing is required, and they can protect teeth for many years even into adulthood. Some teeth have deep grooves on them where food gets trapped even after brushing. This causes cavities to develop in those grooves over time.
• Teeth Whitening. We have two options for teeth whitening. The first one is the take home whitening trays with whitening gel. We will take impressions and make trays for you and give you the whitening gel that you will need for whitening them at home at your own convenience. The second is in-office whitening. We will place a special barrier around your gums to help keep them from getting sensitive and place a higher concentration whitening gel on your teeth for about 15 min each round. Usually 2-3 rounds are adequate to get a great result. In addition to the in-office whitening session we will give you take home trays and whitening gel to continue whitening at home as you feel necessary.
• Fillings. At Chandler Dental we use tooth colored, resin composite for fillings and bonding procedures. No amalgam or metal fillings. These types of fillings are better for your teeth and body and actually strengthen teeth rather than making them weaker. A filling is generally used when a cavity has destroyed part of your tooth and that part of the tooth needs to be rebuilt after being cleaned out.
• Retainers and Nightguards. We make in-house retainers and nightguards using strong, lightweight material for your comfort. Retainers keep the teeth straight after Invisalign or braces. Nightguards are used to protect your teeth from clenching and grinding. They also provide relief from muscle pain/tightness and headaches which is essential for the TMJ (jaw joints) to function properly.
• Crowns and Bridges. A crown is a protective covering for your tooth that also restores its function and esthetics. A bridge is used for the same purpose as a crown when one or more teeth are missing. We use the strongest tooth colored materials available in dentistry to fabricate your crowns and bridges so they will last a long time and look and feel natural. Click the link for more details.
• Dentures. We use the best labs around to ensure that your dentures are strong, beautiful and natural looking. Dentures are used to replace missing teeth or all of your teeth on the top or bottom arch. Click the link for more details.
• Extractions. Sometimes teeth need to be removed due to decay, bone loss, infection or pain. Our highly skilled dentists will walk you through the extraction process and also go over all your options for replacing your tooth/teeth. We strive to provide same day service whenever possible so that you can get out of pain quickly.
